Description:
When one thinks of a safari in South Africa, the first place that is associated in the collective imagination is Kruger National Park , a huge national park populated by a great many animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos (the famous Big 5) and an exorbitant amount of birds and birds of prey.
An original safari in South Africa
There are many safaris in South Africa that can be taken, but if you feel like trying (in total safety, accompanied by experienced armed rangers) an original safari, all you have to do is get on your mountain bike and start pedalling. This activity takes place at dawn, when the animals are most active and when pedalling is easiest due to the optimal temperatures; for those more trained, there’s the possibility of bike riding in the afternoon.
