Visit Seychelles

According to Minister Speranza, the Seychelles are one of the destinations that we are now legally and safely able to visit.

Seychelles is an archipelago in the Indian Ocean that combines beautiful beaches, endless palm trees, dreamy settings of rocky seashores, very diverse cuisine and Creole hospitality. The islands are great for honeymoons, romantic getaways, family stays and even ecotourism trips.

Seychelles is one of the nations that has been most concerned about managing the health emergency, as even though it lives on tourism alone, it closed its borders immediately and vaccinated its entire population as soon as they could.

For the safe reopening, the Seychelles government drew up a list of licensed hotels and tour operators to ensure that health and safety protocols were fully respected.

In order to travel to this tropical paradise, Italians can do so through the “Tourist Corridors” set up by the Italian government that make sure that all safety standards and health protocols are met. To follow the rules, it is necessary to book a tour package (so at least two services) with a tour operator or travel agency in Italy. It is not possible to independently book a flight and then go to an operator or vice versa. Stays with private hosts are prohibited precisely because they do not comply with health protocols (so you cannot stay at an Airbnb).

As also mentioned on our social channels, for all authorized travel, an issued “Travel pass” will provide all the necessary info for the booked trip, so as make sure that all checks at departure can be completed.

If you fly to this magnificent archipelago, we recommend visiting at least the three main islands, trying to devote several nights to each island so you can have enough time getting around and not missing the main attractions.

Special mention should be made to La Digue, the small, human-scale island, immersed in nature, where there are no vehicles and can only be explored on foot or by bicycle. In La Digue it is possible to visit the most beautiful beach in the world according to many travellers. Such beach, “Anse Source d’Argent” is the emblem of paradise on earth and must be strictly visited on a sunny day with a calm sea so you can take a picture of the beach while you’re standing in the water. From this perspective, the view is absolutely incredible.
